Anthony Frizelle, B.Com.
Chairman / CEO & Director
Anthony Frizelle is the Founder and Managing Director of Resource
Management and Finance Company Ltd. He previously served as
Chairman, International, of Rand Mines International and CEO of
Trilon Pacific, a Canadian Merchant Bank focused on developing
resource opportunities to supply Asian economies. Tony has held
senior positions with Anglo American Corp. and Phibro-Salomon group,
where he was the Managing Director of Structured Finance. He served
as a Director of Cardero Resources Corp., a publicly traded
corporation listed on the TSX, AMEX, and FSE, and as Chairman and
Director of Golden Knight Resources (previously Mutual Resources), a
publicly traded corporation listed on the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
Most recently Tony was President and Chief Executive Officer of Nu
Energy Uranium Corporation.
Laurie Mutch, M.Sc., Physics
President & Director
Laurie Mutch is a management consultant and founder and Chief
Executive Officer of Laurie Mutch & Associates Limited, a company
which has provided advice on governance, strategic planning,
business development and change management to multi-national
organizations since 1999. He has 25 years experience in the energy
industry with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group where he served on the
Board of Shell International Gas & Power, as Executive Director for
business development in the Eastern Hemisphere, leading the
commercial appraisal and development of all Shell's gas and power
projects in the Middle East, South Asia, China, the Philippines and
the Russian Far East. Prior to this role, Laurie was the Finance
Director of Shell International Gas, and Principal Executive to the
International Energy Agency's Coal Industry Advisory Board (CIAB), a
forum of coal industry leaders and a main source of advice for coal
policy matters to the International Energy Agency in Paris. He
served as Chief Financial Officer of Nu Energy Uranium Corporation
and is currently a director of Quadrise Fuels International, where
he serves on the Remuneration Committee and holds the position of
Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Bob Bondy, BA, LL.B
Secretary & Director
Robert A. Bondy graduated from the University of Windsor in 1967
with a B.A. degree and from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1968 with an
LL.B. degree. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1970 after which
he joined, and subsequently became a Partner of, Blake, Cassels &
Graydon LLP. where practiced in the Securities and Corporate Law
Group in the Blakes Toronto office. Bob’s practice involved acting
for public and private companies, as well as investment dealers,
with a particular focus on public and private offerings of
securities, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory requirements,
corporate reorganization and corporate governance. He is a Director
of Guyana Goldfields and Canuc Resources Corporation and former
Secretary for Nu Energy Uranium Corporation.
Philip Martin, B.Sc. (Eng.), MBA
Director
Mr. Martin is an independent consultant who previously served on the
boards of Energy Metals and Southern Platinum and is a director of
Maximus Ventures Ltd., Rubicon Minerals Corporation, Nevoro Inc.,
Aura Minerals Inc. and Beta Minerals Inc. He holds a B.Sc. degree in
mining engineering and an MBA. He has a broad range of experience in
the mining industry as well as in mining finance and research.
Philip worked with Gordon Capital Corporation in Toronto in research
and investment banking specializing in the mining sector. Since 1998
he has acted as a mining finance consultant for clients in Canada
and internationally.
Prof. Stephen Haggerty, Ph.D.
Director
Prof. Haggerty is a research professor at Florida International
University. He was previously an assistant associate and a professor
at the University of Massachusetts as well as acting as a consultant
with the governments of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Syria and for
mining companies, such as BP p.l.c., Selection Trust Ltd., DeBeers
sa, Delta Mining Pty Ltd., Quintad Mining Co. and AT AQUA Mining
Inc. Dr. Haggerty holds a Diploma in Economic Geology from the Royal
School of Mines, a Diploma in Exploration Geology from the Imperial
College and a Ph.D. in Geology & Geophysics from the University of
London (1968). He is a Director of Diamcor Mining Inc. and TriNorth
Capital Inc
